PRINCIPAL’S NOTE

Sister Thea Bowman said, “if you love the Lord your God with your whole heart, your whole soul, and your whole mind and all your strength, then you praise the Lord with your whole heart and soul and mind and strength and you don’t bring him any feeble service.”

What if you sent your students off to school each day with this as a Blessing? We talked about blessing each other, and the students blessed each other in the chapel. You also can give your students a special gift of God each morning by blessing them!

STAFF MEETING / EARLY DISMISSAL

On Monday, Sep 12, 2016, STBCS will have an afternoon Staff Meeting. School dismissal is at 12:30. Buses will run that day, but they will run starting at 12:30. Also, there is no Extended Day. Please plan accordingly to have your students picked up on time, so we can begin our meeting on time.

SISTER THEA BOWMAN “CALL” TO DO OUR PART

“If we work together, pray and stand together, we can create a new heaven and ease life for each other.” Sister Thea Bowman, 1990.

VOLUNTEER!!!

On Tuesday, September 13, at 2 PM, we will have a special school Initial Child Protection Training. This is a required training session for all new volunteers that want to spend time at our school helping us educate your children.

We have had a great response from families willing to volunteer!!! We will contact you soon to discuss how you can be a part of your student’s education at school. If you still want to volunteer, please sign-up for the training this week. If you need another form, we’ll send you one, just let the office know.

ARRIVAL TIME:

Great seeing all of the students arriving at 7:45! Thank you to the families and students for the extra early morning effort!  It really pays off in the classroom.

CELL PHONE PERMISSION FORM

Reminder: If your student needs a cell phone for use after school, please have your student request the permission form from the office.

UNIFORM

Are your students wearing solid black or solid white tennis shoes?  If not, please stop them at the door, so they do not have to call you to bring new shoes to school. If you are having trouble with uniform items, please let Ms. Francine know, so we can help you find a solution.
