Sister Thea Bowman Catholic School develops peacemaking skills in all students to create a peaceful environment. Peacemaking behavior is promoted and is encouraged
through daily affirmation, recognition, and role modeling. Peacemaking behaviors are discussed, taught, and practiced.
Students who successfully live the Peacemaker principles attend our monthly Peacemaker Activity. Other students participate in the Second Step Curriculum to help students understand the process of restoration. This approach encourages students to learn how to be a Peacemaker.
