PRINCIPAL’S NOTE

We have started Lent, a season of Prayer, Fasting, and Giving in preparation for the Easter Celebration of the Resurrection of Jesus. Work with your student to “Fast” (give up) from something negative or unproductive such as TIK TOK, and replace it with Prayer, Studies, or even Reading.

SISTER THEA BOWMAN PLAY @ C.O.C.A 3/5/2026

4th Through 8th Grade Students will depart from the school at 9:00 AM to travel to the theater for the Sister Thea Bowman Play. The performance will last approximately two hours.If weather permits, we will stop at a local park for lunch. In the event of inclement weather, students will return to the school and have lunch here.Please ensure your child is dressed appropriately for the weather, sack lunches will be provided.

BLACK HISTORY PROGRAM FEBRUARY 26 9AM 

We will hold our Annual Black History Month Program at 9:00 AM in the Chapel.Parents and families are warmly invited to join us as we pay tribute to our history, honor the legacy of those who paved the way, and celebrate the rich contributions of African Americans to our faith, culture, and nation.We look forward to sharing this special and meaningful celebration with you.

SR THEA BOWMAN OPEN HOUSE AND REGISTRATION

We will host an Open House on Mar 25, 5pm -7pm, and registration has already been open.

PEACEMAKER DAY FEBRUARY 27th

Peacemakers may wear a Black History shirt instead of a uniform shirt.

CELL PHONES

Please remind students that cell phones can only be brought to school if written permission is given at the office. Cell phones must be turned off and Turned in to the Office Daily
