PRINCIPAL’S NOTE
Looking ahead to Catholic Schools Week. We will celebrate with the themes:
“I am Beautiful”, “We are God’s Children”, and “We are One in Unity”.
END OF QUARTER AWARDS CEREMONY
Friday, January 30, we will celebrate our Second Quarter Awards Ceremony. The ceremony will take place following Mass, which will begin at 9:00 a.m. in the Chapel.We are excited to invite all families and friends to join us as we recognize our scholars for their hard work and achievements during the second quarter.We look forward to celebrating together and thank you for your continued support.
ALL SCHOOL SPELLING BEE
Students in grades 2-8 who pass the elimination rounds in their classrooms will compete for All School Spelling Bee Champion in the Chapel on Tuesday , January 27, at 8:30am. Parents/guardians are invited to come in and cheer them on. The first place winner will then compete in the Written Semi-Final Bee at McKendree University on Saturday, February 22.
Our school will join Catholic schools across the United States in celebrating Catholic Schools Week, January 25–31.
Each day of Catholic Schools Week has a special focus:
- Monday: Kick-Off Day — Students will visit St. Clare Catholic School
- Tuesday: School-Wide Spelling Bee
- Wednesday: Visit to our sister school ICS for Glow Bingo and Trivia Games
- Thursday: Staff Appreciation Day
- Friday: Catholic Schools Week Mass, Day of Service, and Peacemaker Day
Parents are invited to attend our School-Wide Spelling Bee on
Tuesday, January 26, held in the Chapel. 9AM
We look forward to a joyful week celebrating faith, learning, and community!
